Welcome Back

Tomorrow (Monday 6th July) marks the resumption of the public celebration of the liturgy at the Sacred Heart Church. Here are a few things that will help us all to stay safe as we take this small step to returning to a life liturgical life.

MASSES WILL BE AT THE FOLLOWING TIMES:

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY

9:30am

Tuesday and Thursday

7:00pm

Saturday

12:00 Noon and 6:00pm Vigil Mass

Sunday

9:00am and 11:00am

1 Church will be open 20 minutes before the start of each Mass. Please do not arrive before then so that social distancing can be maintained. It ill also give the stewards time to clean the church between Masses.

2 On entry you will be greeted by a steward and then invited to sanitise your hands.

3 Another steward will then direct you to a specific place to sit in church. This may not be your usual place but please understand that this is for the safety of all attending Mass. We will fill up the benches from the front.

4 If you wish to light a candle please do so BEFORE MASS begins.

5 Holy Communion will be brought to you by Father in your place. Please extend your arms as far as possible and keep your hands flat. The Sacred Host will then be placed onto your hands.

6 At the end of Mass you will be dismissed by the stewards row by row beginning at the back of church. Please sanitise your hands again as you leave

7 A basket for your collection will be available as you leave the church.

8 Please try not to congregate in the car park after Mass. Any conversations should take place whilst observing social distancing.
