As we approach the Feast of All Saints we see te emergence of ghostly characters in the shops – images of witches and ghosties and goblins.
THIS IS NOT THE CHRISTIAN MEANING OF HALLOWEEN AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
Thanks be to God with the COVID 19 Virus still being around and us in Greater Manchester living under Tier 3 Restrictions there will be less ‘trick or treat’ initiatives happening. We now have the chance to reclaim Halloween for it really is – the Eve of All Hallows – the Eve of All Saints. Let us try and celebrate in a healthy Christian way.
